TREATMENTS & BENEFITS

Treatments

 | Relaxationmassage |
The primary goal is to escape the demands and the stresses of everyday life and focuses on general relaxation. You cannot avoid the aches and pains you are feeling but you can reduce the intensity in which it is experienced. This massage relieves the tension and feeling of fatigue.

 | Pregnancy massage |
One of the most beneficial times for a massage could be during your pregnancy. This treatment is best after 3 months into the pregnancy. You enjoy a full body massage while lying comfortably on your side.
Mommys to be are welcome for a massage AFTER the first 12 weeks into their pregnancy. This is due to the increased risks associated in the first trimester.

 | Deep Tissue massage |
Do you have frequent muscle spasms or suffer from chronic pain? Then a deep tissue massage may just be what you’ve been searching for. When muscles are chronically cramped, the circulation of oxygen and blood is then locally blocked. A deep tissue massage can remove this blockage. By tackling the deepest layers of your muscles and connective tissues, you relieve the tension in the muscles and increase the blood circulation which in turn helps with the lowering of the blood pressure and also decreases your level of anxiety.

 | Sportmassage |
A sport massage is often mistaken for a deep tissue massage but is rarely as intense and not as firm. This is due to the release of toxins which can hinder your workout experience. Intense muscle activity leads to increased production of lactic acid, if released too fast, it can cause cramping of the muscles.
The aim of a sports massage is to get the blood warm and pumping through the entire body, with emphasis on the muscles, tendons and joints, in order to start and finish any (sports) activity in top condition which improves performance and prevents injuries.

 | Neck, shoulder, back, & head massage |
The name says it all.. To achieve a measure of relief focus is laid on the upper body; especially helpful for a chronically tensed neck & lower back and sore shoulders.
